Jesse Sartain must be stopped. He is a flim-flam man who sells air, yet constantly employs desperate people, works them like dogs, then refuses to pay them what they are owed. The San Francisco court system is quite familiar with him, as people sue him every day, in this town.
And yet, he goes on. He uses Craigslist to find new employees, and upon hiring them, he begins to drive them slowly insane with his maniacal, unpredictable, unprincipled behavior. He is abusive, abrasive, conniving, and devoid of all morals and ethics.
He's not even a real chef! He is a faker who is being hounded by the IRS and perhaps international authorities. He cannot control himself in public, he is rude and sexist, he is also a pervert, and has been repeatedly seen shouting at women on the street.
He is alleged to have dislocated the arm of a judge in SF, though he was seemingly not prosecuted. His legs were broken by a loan shark.
Do not work for Jesse Sartain. None of this is libelous or slanderous. You can't sue people for telling the truth, Jesse.
I met him before and he was great! He paid me and my mates for our help, then bought us a round of drinks. Then he gave one of the lads a job for the summer, and DID pay him. Very nice fella. So leave him alone!

back in the day, he used to pay on paper. So, all the loser chefs we used to send the Registry to I put down as closed. I literally embezzled tens of thousands of dollars from him before his gay-boy lacky who later worked for McKesson in SF got hip to it and we had a showdown at this nasty pizza joint across from his California Street flat. I got him so upset that he smashed the place to bits, police came and he ended up paying for the damages he perpetrated.
I laughed all the way to the bank and can honestly say, I have never enjoyed myself that much in the history of my employment.Don't get mad get even! Especially with someone as gullable as Jesse!
I worked for Jesse for 3 weeks or so as a General Manager, I was for instance to interview several young people for intern jobs and when he (Jesse) turned his back I told them to get the hell out of there and if they had to play mind-numbing videogames all summer long they would be better off than working for this arsehole in this freaky environment of control, abuse, ranting and raving, lack of respect and trust, an overflow of suspicion, and humiliation.

I had a battle over money with one of the ex-employees, as her presence (at work) was not documented at all! The phones and faxline were disconnected due to unpaid bills.... and at some stage that month we were owing more than $100,000.00 in current payments and bills due and had 3 contracts coming in that month for a total of $10,000.00 and then one of those contracts (for $6,000.00) canceled that same week which left us (the company) in deep dooha.
But Jesse doesn't care, it is his way or the highway. No matter who he deals with, no matter what your interests are for dealing with him. He has never ever heard of getting things done by way of mutual respect. He greased up on you if you were a potential customer while in the same conversation almost he could humiliate anyone that took the wrong time for a breather, for going to the loo or just doing something he had not approved off in advance.
He doesn't believe in hiring people for their strengths, he prefers to get to know your weaknesses so he can take advantage of you. I strongly believe he hires people that have flaws or weaknesses just so that he can take advantage of them.
I had a meeting with him at his house, he lost his cool several times, even threw things at me, knocked over his glass of wine, twice, and all I did was keeping my cool. He just couldn't handle that! In that conversation too, I was hired, fired and re-hired again!
I loved the conference calls, as even over the phone he thought he had to control every breath you take, every move you make and every step you take, and yes that included you going to the loo.
I vividly and especially remember the conference call all the way from France when I got fired!
He couldn't get hold of Rosimai at the time, and I asked him if he thought that was strange and I told him that didn't surprise me at all, she was enjoying him NOT being around FOR A CHANGE, even though he was on the f*cking phone to all of us all the time...
His travel companion (to France) had left him even before they got on the plane together, as she couldn't believe what she was hearing when he was raving and ranting once more while on a call to the office...
I always felt sorry for Rosimai having to put up with this arsehole, I just couldn't understand why she didn't pack her belongings and skipped the country back to Brazil. If life in the US needs to be with this arsehole I'd rather be anywhere else but here. I suppose she was either too much brainwashed by the arsehole or too much involved in his schemes, I never figured that out, my time with them didn't last that long, but I think it was not the latter, even though I could be mistaken....
And for the insiders: Brian Miller, yes I call him by name, an employee of Jesse's, he's in with the plot, just like the guy in Las Vegas, I forgot his name, but when checking out the legal backgrounds of the several companies Jesse pretends to operate, those names came back several times as representatives for those different organizations.
And I knew something was up with this guy Brian, as he endured some of the worst abuse ever, yet every day kept coming back for more without hesitation.
Employment is not about that, employment is all about achieving together while bringing the best out of each other and learn from each other. Also about improving the company's wellbeing so that this translates into improving the employee's individual wellbeing.
Jesse really was the worst example I have ever come across of an 18th century company boss that refuses to move forward into the 19th century when bosses figured out to instead of humiliate employees motivate employees to increase production.

By now I suppose it has fallen over, we had so many bad storms lately.... But if not, it might be better for someone to grab an axe and take this thing down, we do not want anyone else to get hurt by this sick ole' basterd, his little mini-me boy george employee and that Vegas friend. beware, they are all the same evil menace.
You would think by now Jesse would be out of business but, he's not. He is still up and running. Crazy enough, people are still willing to work for this asshole. (Including me) does anyone know how to shut him down? We have so much evidence in this office right now that if they knew how he was operating Jesse would be in Jail RIGHT NOW. I am getting tired to a point where I do not care. Can someone advise me as to where I should go with our evidence?
